Funding Opportunity for UK Universities and RTOs

The LINCAM Ceres Agri-Tech initiative is offering £5,000–£150,000 in funding to help UK researchers translate crop-based agri-tech research with commercial potential into real-world agricultural innovation.

Projects must focus on crop agriculture or horticulture and include at least 50% EPSRC scope, including areas such as AI, robotics, engineering, materials, data and software.

The call is open to researchers from UK universities and EPSRC-approved Research and Technology Organisations (RTOs). Projects should also demonstrate relevance to agriculture in Lincolnshire or Cambridgeshire.

The initiative is particularly interested in technologies that can help address challenges facing crop-based agriculture, including labour shortages, climate pressures, food waste, pests and diseases, rising input costs and the transition towards greener, net zero processes.

Expression of Interest deadline: Midnight, 5 October 2026.
