Alistair McDermott is Research and Enterprise Operating Officer at Imperial College London, where he provides strategic leadership across research, enterprise and innovation activities. He has extensive experience developing and delivering strategies that strengthen the interface between universities, industry and government, enabling research to generate commercial, economic and societal impact.
Throughout his career, Alistair has led initiatives spanning knowledge exchange, research funding, academic consultancy, innovation and partnership development.
