Dr Terry Parlett is Commercialisation Director at Cambridge Enterprise, specialising in translating the Health and Life Science discoveries of the University of Cambridge into the marketplace.
Terry manages the full commercialisation cycle, from idea development and proof of concept through to market delivery, typically via licensing (from small companies through to multinationals), or by creating new spin-out vehicles, often serving as an Investor Director in early funding rounds. His work spans cell and gene therapies, small molecules, Vaccines, Medtech, diagnostics, and AI/digital health innovations. Terry also has extensive experience establishing commercial functions in the public sector, including the establishment of tech-transfer offices, healthcare service spin-outs, and developing public–private partnerships and joint ventures.
