Gareth is an Investment Executive in the Technology Venture Investments team at Development Bank of Wales. Before moving into venture capital, he was Head of Technology Transfer at Swansea University, leading a team of over 20 responsible for IP management, technology transfer and consultancy, along with delivery of the £20m AgorIP project. Previously, he led commercialisation and consultancy at Bangor University. A diverse earlier career included contract R&D, community and economic development in the UK and the USA. His 11 years of experience in technology transfer included spinning out over 10 companies and negotiating multiple license deals.
