Based within Commercial Innovations, now part of the newly created Centre for Innovation, Transformation and Improvement (CITI), Tas Gohir helps lead the development of transformative models of healthcare delivery.
The Trust encompasses the UK’s five most renowned hospitals: Guy’s Hospital, St Thomas’ Hospital, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, and Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals, alongside its Community and Home Services. Together with King’s College London and King’s Health Partners, Guy’s and St Thomas’ was, until 2023, home to the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre in Innovative Medicines, including cell and gene therapies.
Tas is responsible for the commercialisation of the Trust’s research outputs and intellectual property, generating both economic value and improved patient outcomes. He also plays a key role in developing strategic industry partnerships that support the creation and adoption of impactful medical innovations.
