Working within the Directorate’s newly established Academic Consultancy Services team and in collaboration with partner services across the University, the Academic Consultancy Manager will be responsible for building relationships and enabling the sharing of academic knowledge and expertise with a wide range of external stakeholders including industry, charities, government, public bodies. The Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Engagement Directorate is responsible for delivering the University of Glasgow’s Innovation Strategy (2022-2025). 

Through our new Innovation Strategy, we are strengthening our capability to engage with business, industry, public bodies and governments and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Academic Consultancy Manager to join us and be part of shaping a new professional service for the University.

You will provide a professional end-to-end service which efficiently facilitates, manages and grows academic consultancy activities, contributing to a pipeline of new relationship opportunities for external collaboration and value creation in support of the delivery of the University’s Innovation Strategy.

This post is full time (35 hours per week) and open ended (permanent). Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
