Head of Research Support (CoSS & CAL) – University of Birmingham

To support with the strategic aims of the University to be a top 50 research intensive institution, the Research Services and Support Division (RSSD) are recruiting for a Head of Research Support to support with delivering research strategy and developing new and existing partnerships that bring together researcher from around the College of Arts & Law and College of Social Sciences. The post holder will be responsible for developing effective systems and procedures to manage a highly complex contracts portfolio valued at between £170M – £200M per annum which contribute to the reputation of the University of Birmingham and deliver the aim of increasing research income. The role will involve a large amount of staff leadership, customer service, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
