The new South Yorkshire Innovation Programme (SYIP) has been officially launched to help regional organisations to innovate, accelerate, and grow.
South Yorkshire Mayor Oliver Coppard spoke in November at the prestigious launch event and welcomed the official roll out of SYIP, which will offer high quality, tailored support to businesses, charities and social enterprises.
This ambitious initiative is a powerful collaboration between Sheffield Hallam University (as the lead partner), the University of Sheffield, and Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, with £3 million in backing from The South Yorkshire Mayoral Authority (SYMCA). Co-designed with the region’s four Local Authorities, SYIP is poised to transform how businesses in the area engage with and benefit from innovation.
Here at Sheffield Hallam University we are recruiting for two Specialist Innovation Advisers, these roles will place you right at the core of SYIP, serving as the key connector between the programme and its intended beneficiaries. You’ll work across both Sheffield universities and all four South Yorkshire Local Authorities to ignite engagement and inspire collaboration.
