Manufacturing Mentor: University of Huddersfield

Fixed term for 3 years, 18.5 hours per week
 

An exciting opportunity has become available to be part of a new Manufacturing Champions Programme funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government.
 

The Manufacturing Mentor`s role is to engage with Businesses and to support their leadership team to achieve the growth potential. This will involve working closely with the leadership team assisting with the company strategy and assisting implementation. The Manufacturing Mentor will assist the company in measuring its productivity performance, establishing an action plan that involves the utilisation and adoption of the relevant and most suitable of the latest technologies and understanding the growth trajectory of the business. 

You will help the leadership team implement plans to support their ambitions.  Co-ordinating local business support programmes to achieve the best possible service will be a key part of this role.
 

The successful applicant will have strong business acumen, be self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve excellence and have an aptitude for developing creative approaches to problem-solving.
