Marketing Executive
The role
We wish to appoint a Marketing Executive to help present the company, its world-leading professional development for knowledge exchange, and the work of its members nationally and internationally through our website, social media, printed materials, and press releases. In particular, the postholder will be responsible for ensuring consistent look and feel across communication channels with effective and high quality content. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of integrated marketing and communication campaigns across our member services: training, events, community networking and knowledge sharing. This will require engagement with a range of audiences through multiple platforms (website, social media, newsletters) and in multiple registers (from informal social media posts and videos, to more substantial articles and formal press statements).
About you
Reporting to the Director of Policy and Communication, you will be a strong all-rounder who can work independently and interact confidently with our volunteers, members and external stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with the PraxisAuril team to support our ‘Develop, Promote, Connect’ mission with members, sector stakeholders and other external audiences.
You will work closely with the Exec Team leaders to deliver a strong and consistent voice for PraxisAuril. You will help us to reach our goals by delivering high quality communications, promotional materials and digital campaigns to ensure the PraxisAuril brand is maintained, enhanced and recognised.
Applicants will need to have
• experience of working in, or with, the higher education sector
• hands-on experience of managing social and digital media with a creative approach to content generation
• excellent writing, editing and design skills (either direct or through managing an agency)
• a flair for working with sometimes complicated information to make it both compelling and accessible to a range of audiences
• ability to write reports on marketing campaign impact and annual actual achievement against the marketing plan.
The PraxisAuril Team is small and every member of staff can make a real difference and impact the future of the company. We’re looking for a team player who can manage responsibility, be hands-on, and has a creative approach to tackling a varied workload.
