Programme Coordinating Manager, Data Revolution Catalyst: Keele University

Fixed Term until September 2023

Keele will soon be launching a Digital Society Institute, a collaborative research hub with a focus on advancing the possibilities that new technologies present to improve societal outcomes through the better use of data. We will be working with businesses, health services, cultural and community partners and the public sector.  The institute will be located within the University Enterprise Zone on the Keele campus and specifically Innovation Centre Seven (IC7), one of a number of projects part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Programme 2014-2020.  Opening in May 2022, IC7 will provide 2,696sqm of BREEAM excellent innovation space, featuring a Data Visualisation Suite, office space and hi-tech meeting and collaboration space.

Through the University's commitment to the region in its Keele Deal Recovery, the institute and IC7 will initially support over 450 SMEs in an 18 month period.  Linked to this exciting development, we are now looking to recruit a new team to work with academics to deliver the business support programme.

Based in the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Engagement, and working closely with colleagues in the Digital Society Institute, the Programme Coordinating Manager will play the lead role in coordinating the Data Revolution Catalyst programme delivery and ensuring adherence with grant funding conditions.  The role would suit an experienced programme delivery manager looking for an opportunity to move into an exciting new project area and joining a University nationally renowned for its dynamic and forward-thinking approach to local growth and regeneration.

The University is committed to operating flexible working practices wherever possible.

Keele University values equality and diversity across our workforce and to ensuring our staff community is reflective of the diversity of our student population. In support of these commitments the University welcomes applications from individuals of Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds for all roles.
