Finance Administrator providing budget, contract and payment support in Research team
We are: looking for a Finance Administrator to join our busy Research and
Engagement team.
The R&E Finance Administrator is responsible for performing key finance support functions
within the R&E team, including (but not limited to) raising contracts and payments as
required, monitoring divisional budgets, and assisting with the preparation of mid-term and
end-term financial statements on discrete projects and grants.
You will be: responsible for delivering key financial support within the
Research and Engagement team. This will include raising contracts and
processing payments in line with institutional procedures, monitoring and
maintaining accurate records of divisional budgets, and assisting with the
preparation of mid-term and end-of-term financial statements for a range of
funded projects and grants. You will work closely with colleagues across the
Conservatoire and external partners to ensure effective financial administration
and compliance with funding requirements.
You will have: proven experience in finance administration, ideally within a
research or project funding context, along with an understanding of the financial
management of research grants and funded projects. You will be confident
handling large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to
detail, and comfortable working in a busy office environment. You will also have
excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload, meet
deadlines, and work autonomously using your own initiative. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to handle
confidential information with discretion and to engage effectively with
colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, both within the institution and
externally.
