Research Commercialisation Manager (Life Sciences): University of Bristol

The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to develop and manage a portfolio of commercialisation projects across the Life Sciences.

What will you be doing?

You will be guiding academics in the strategic use of their intellectual property; assessing technology disclosures for commercial potential; managing the process for gaining intellectual property protection; devising development and commercialisation plans; providing commercial inputs to translational funding applications and driving the commercialisation of technologies via licensing or spin-out company creation. 

You should apply if

You have experience of commercialising early-stage life science technologies within a commercial environment or within the higher education sector is essential, as is a degree or equivalent and an active network of relevant contacts.
