Research Contracts Manager (4 roles)

The research contracts team in Research Services at the University of Oxford is expanding following significant internal investment. There are now several opportunities available:

Research Contracts Lead, Grade 9 (£49k-£57k), typically 5+ years’ experience, 3 roles available (see separate listing)

Research Contracts Manager, Grade 8 (£43k-£52k), typically 3+ years’ experience, 4 roles available

Research at Oxford plays a key role in tackling many global challenges, from reducing carbon emissions to developing vaccines during the pandemic. Research Services is one of the key professional services departments supporting Oxford's research and innovation community, with its work grounded in values including professionalism, teamwork, continuous improvement, empathy, respect, and trust.

Candidates with suitable experience are likely to come either from other universities, or from organisations used to contracting with university research projects, such as research charities, industry, NGOs, and the NHS. Neither legal training, nor a particular disciplinary background, is required.
