Senior Research Assistant – Digital Technologies

The University is looking at appoint a Senior Research Assistant to deliver business support to SMEs based in Lancashire through the Lancashire Health MATTERS programme. In collaboration with the NHS Innovation Agency, the successful applicant will design and oversee a programme of technology assessments (Real World Validation) on digital, software and app based products/services that offer the prospect of improving health and healthcare outcomes and or lower overall cost in collaboration with the NHS Innovation Agency. The appointee will support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with an innovative digital health/medical product or service through the Real World Validation (RWV) process so that they can gain evidence to support the SME to win contracts to supply their product/service into the NHS. This will also include the organising of RWV trials at testing sites with NHS partner organisations.
