University of Birmingham: Head of Research Operations (Social Sciences)

We have two exciting Heads of Research Operations roles available in Research Strategy and Services Division at the University of Birmingham.
One will support the College of Social Sciences and the other the Colleges of Engineering & Physical Sciences and Life & Environmental Sciences.
Both are Grade 9 senior roles at the University and both will be focussed on leading expert teams dedicated to supporting the relevant Colleges’ research efforts. This pivotal role involves managing pre-award research support, compliance, grants setup, and importantly contracts negotiation. You will report directly to the Assistant/Deputy Director of RSSD and collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive the University's research performance to new heights.
